Montalban, Rizal—formerly known as Rodriguez—is a town blessed with both history and natural beauty. Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range, it is home to the iconic Wawa Dam and dramatic limestone cliffs that have become symbols of resilience and strength for its people. Montalban has also played an important role in the nation’s story, having been one of the significant areas during the Philippine Revolution, where bravery and unity defined its legacy. Today, Montalban stands as a thriving municipality that continues to grow while honoring its past, with its people known for their hard work, courage, and deep sense of community.
It was in this inspiring town that the Rotaract Club of Rodriguez was officially chartered on March 4, 2014, proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rodriguez. Since then, we have evolved into a dynamic community of young leaders who live out our commitment to service, leadership, and fellowship.
What makes our club truly unique is our diversity. We are composed of individuals from different walks of life—doctors, dentists, students, journalists, teachers, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and more—all united by a common purpose: to serve and to create meaningful change. This wide range of perspectives, skills, and experiences enriches our projects and strengthens our bond as a family of service-driven leaders.
As part of Rotary International District 3800, we carry forward the values of Rotary while carving our own path through impactful initiatives. Over the years, our club has launched and supported numerous programs—ranging from outreach efforts and educational campaigns to leadership development, health initiatives, and advocacies that uplift marginalized communities.
Beyond our projects, we see Rotaract not just as an organization but as a family where young leaders learn, grow, and support one another. Together, we embrace the legacy of resilience rooted in Montalban’s history while shaping a future built on compassion, inclusivity, and leadership.
