Time Management
& Organizing Activities

Effective time management was crucial to ensure that all learning objectives were covered within the limited class time. I followed a structured approach to organizing activities and allocating time:

  1. Lesson Segmentation:

    • I divided the lesson into distinct segments, including a warm-up activity (the game), the main instructional activity, and a conclusion with reflection and feedback. This segmentation helped maintain focus and ensure that all activities were completed.

  2. Activity Planning:

    • I allotted specific timeframes for each activity. For instance, a reading comprehension exercise was given 15 minutes, followed by a 20-minute group discussion, and a 10-minute writing task.

    • I kept track of time during each activity to ensure that transitions between tasks were smooth and that there was enough time for each task's completion.

  3. Flexibility:

    • While I adhered to the planned schedule, I remained flexible when adjustments were needed. For example, if a particular activity sparked more interest or needed more time, I adjusted the schedule to allow for deeper discussion or further practice.
